Examination: Learners should appear for three hundred marks examination as follows

Total marks - 100 

Pass percentage - 80% 

Unit 2- summative assessments 

Learners undergoing the International Skill certificate in Process Safety Management ( level 3 )  program must submit a summative assessment to complete their unit two.

Summative assessments 

Summative assessment is the practice of evaluating what a student has learned at the end of a given period (assessment of learning). As content is taught within a course, educators should evaluate how well the information is absorbed and retained—this is where summative assessment becomes useful. In addition, the summative assessment provides faculty insight into how well their students have mastered the delivered content by assessing students at the end of the entire program curriculum. As part of the summative assessment, learners must conduct workplace research on any facility and submit shreds of evidence against each. The total research to be completed in three segments 

  • Observation
  • consultation
  • Analysis 

Observation:- The learner should identify and visit any Process facility and observe the best practices followed by the organization. (Detailed instruction and templates to be supplied by the Authorized Training providers) 

consultation:- The leaner should carry out at least a one-hour interview with one Process professional in the selected organization to understand the overall functioning of the Process Safety operation. (Detailed instruction and templates to be supplied by the Authorized Training providers) 

Analysis:-On completion of Observation and consultation, the learner should prepare an analysis report showing their understanding of Process  Safety operation. ( Detailed instruction and templates to be supplied by the Authorized Training providers) 

 Individuals should identify and obtain permission from an organization to carry out their research. 

Unit 2- summative assessments 

Type of examination - project reports 

Total marks - 180 

Pass percentage - 80% 

Unit 3- Panel interview 

The learner should appear in a panel interview with industry experts to score 20 marks. 

To be qualified for the certification, The earner should score overall 80% marks in aggregate. 

 There is no grading system. The result will be either pass or fail. 

Pass percentage: learners should score a minimum of 80%.
