Eligibility Criteria for becoming an IBOSD Authorized Training Provider (ATP)

Step 1: Training institutions with a proven track record and reputable standing are eligible to apply for IBOSD Authorized Training Provider (ATP) status. Applicants must have appropriate systems, procedures, and operational arrangements in place.

Step 2: The applying organization must possess an ISO 9001:2015 certification or equivalent quality assurance system.

Step 3: The centre should have adequate infrastructure to simultaneously conduct classroom or online training for at least 20 students.

Step 4: The organization must have robust processes for student eligibility screening and examination monitoring.

Step 5: The institution must have sufficient qualified trainers for each course offered. Each centre must employ at least one lead tutor, one trainer, and an internal quality assessor (IQA).

Qualification Requirements

Lead Tutor / Center Head

  • Must hold a graduate/postgraduate degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, Management, or Science, or an IBOSD International Skill Diploma in Construction Safety Management.
  • Must have completed the Skill Development Facilitator Program (SDFP) from IBOSD.
  • Must have ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 lead auditor training and certification, preferably from ACS-GP.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry/training experience.

Tutor

  • Must hold a graduate/postgraduate degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, Management, or Science, or an IBOSD International Skill Diploma in Construction Safety Management.
  • Must have completed the Skill Development Facilitator Program (SDFP) from IBOSD.
  • Must have ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 lead auditor training and certification, preferably from ACS-GP.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry/training experience.

Internal Quality Assessor (IQA)

  • Must hold a graduation in any subject.
  • Must have an ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor training and certification, preferably from ACS-GP.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry/training experience.

Accreditation Fee

Fee: USD 1,500

Accreditation Process

The IBOSD accreditation process consists of the following four steps:

Step 1: Upon receipt of the completed Corporate Verification Form and required documents, an invoice for USD 1,500 will be issued.

Step 2: After payment, an IBOSD auditor will conduct a physical or virtual audit of the training centre within seven working days.

Step 3: If any non-conformities are identified, the applicant will be granted a 15-day abatement period. After this period, a follow-up document review will be conducted during the abatement period.

Step 4: The Center Accreditation Certificate will be issued upon completion of the accreditation process.
